碱处理竹纤维对EVA结构和性能的影响

【摘要】 采用NaOH碱液处理竹纤维(BF),通过双螺杆挤出和注射成型制备了乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)/BF复合材料。用红外光谱﹑扫描电子显微镜﹑差示扫描量热仪﹑X射线衍射仪和热失重分析等表征了材料的形貌、组成结构和热性能,测试了力学性能和熔体流动速率。结果表明,BF对EVA结晶有异相成核作用;BF使EVA的压缩强度和模量明显增大,EVA/30%~40%BF的拉伸强度接近或超过纯EVA;EVA/BF在熔体加工中保持较高的热稳定性能,源于碱处理去除了BF中的胶质物、EVA与BF较好的界面结合以及EVA较低的熔体加工温度。

【Abstract】 Bamboo fibers(BF)were treated with a NaOH solution,and then the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA)/surface-treated BF composites were prepared by a twin-screw extruder and injection molding.The structure and performance of composites were characterized by Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,differential scanning calorimetry,X-ray powder diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis and mechanical measurements.The results indicated that BF had a heterogeneous nucleation effect on crystallization of EVA.The compressive modulus and strength increased significantly with the addition of BF,and the composites containing30 wt%~40 wt% BF had similar or higher tensile strength compared to that of pure EVA.The EVA/BF composites exhibited a relatively higher thermal stability during the melt processing.This may be ascribed to the removal of cementing materials from BF during the alkali treatment,better interfacial adhesion between EVA and BF,and lower melt processing temperature of EVA.
