【Abstract】 To strengthen the performance management system for public hospitals and transform the public health governance mechanism,a new performance management system based on hospitals assessment methods both in China and abroad has been established by Public Hospital Administration of Shenzhen Municipality. After the implementation of this system,medical treatment quality,service levels and management efficiency have been enhanced.
