【Abstract】 Regional words in Hong Kong have unique characteristics and usage. An analysis has been made on the differences between Hong Kong Chinese words and mainland Mandarin words. The causations of the difference in language structures, cultural practices, and social discussion on the geographical aspects have been discussed. Based on the analysis, the author has expressed his view concerning the definition of certain entries in compiling dictionary.更多还原
