【Abstract】 Professor Zheng Yongnian of National University of Singapore is a renowned scholar who focuses on the research of Chinese ideology and offers unique insight into the subject. This article combs his main viewpoints on China’s ideology,and comments on his weakening of the mainstream ideology. We argue that Xi Jinping’ thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era,which complies with the trend of times and accords with the aspirations of the people and the spirit of the Communist Party of China,has strongly reversed the weakening trend of the mainstream ideology and significantly reinforced Marxism’s persuasiveness,cohesiveness,and attraction. It also provides solid theoretical foundation and tremendous spiritual support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the modernization of a socialist world power.更多还原
