【Abstract】 The movie directed by Zhao Deyin depicts the society of Myanmar as a place of diaspora. Through the imagination of Myanmar, he presents the migration of Myanmar’s bottom people in geographical space in a documentary manner. As an trans-cultural movie director, Zhao Deyin expresses the intimate life experiences through the mature movie language and transmits the complicated ambiguous cultural symbols. As the theme of "Homeland and Diaspora" throughout Zhao Deyin’s movie, he shows the difference between the imagination of the original home at the same time, revealing a deep concern about the fate of discrete individuals. Zhao Deyin’s movie practice not only opens the boundaries for Southeast Asian movies but also provides useful inspiration for the trans-cultural speech of Asian movies.更多还原
