A host-guest system was successfully constructed from dimethoxypillar[5]arene(DMP5) and six guest molecules benzoazolidazole(G2), benzimidazole(G3) and benzothiazole(G1, G4, G5 and G6) via host-guest interactions and characterized by various techniques, including HRMS and ~1 H NMR spectra.
