【Abstract】 Taniguchi is unique among Japanese contemporary architects for his lowkey personality and serene architecture. In his architecture, the Eastern and the Western architectural culture blend together. Contemporary architectural space permeates the charm of traditional architectural space. Edge space and corridor space are two important spatial prototypes in Taniguchi’ architecture.
