固体激光器中热焦距的数值计算及测量
Numerical Calculation and Measurement of the Thermal Focal Length in a Solid-State Laser
【摘要】 热效应是限制固体激光器件整体性能提高的关键因素,为深入研究热效应,给热效应的改善提供理论依据,文中对激光二极管端面泵浦固体激光系统的热传导方程进行了数值求解,并对热焦距进行了数值模拟.实验上通过"平面平行谐振腔"测热焦距法对固体激光器的热焦距进行了实际测量.数值模拟结果和实验测量结果均表明热焦距和泵浦功率呈反比例关系,且两者相符合.
【Abstract】 Thermal effect is a key factor influencing the whole performance of a solid-state laser.In order to find the theoretical foundation for the improvement of thermal effect,the paper presents the numerical solution to the heat-conduction equation of a diode-end-pumped solid-state laser and describes the numerical simulation of the focal length of thermal lensing,which was measured in the experiment by the method of the plane-parallel resonator.The results from the numerical calculation and the experimental measurement both prove that the thermal focal length is in inverse proportion to pump power.The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical results.
