中国大学生学业成就评估研究:二十年的回顾(1998—2017年)

【摘要】 我国大学生学业成就评估探索刚好跨过二十年。期间,中国高等教育利益相关者日益关注高等教育的质量,逐步将大学生学业成就评估作为问责高校办学的关键手段之一。综合使用文献研究法、比较研究法、历史研究法和访谈法,以国际上大学学业成就评估发展为参照,全面介绍我国大学生学业成就评估工具、评估测评方法和评估结果应用的现状,剖析目前存在的问题,包括评估工具的标准化、本土化、多样化程度不够,评估方法过于依赖间接估算法和横向评估法,评估结果使用不透明等。在此基础上,建议建立学业成就评估系统性的制度,建立新的学业成就评估范式,将学业成就评估和其他学习结果评价结合使用,对学业成就评估进行元评价,学业成就评估理论和实践进一步本土化等,以更好地促进大学生学业成就评估,保障我国新时期的本科教育质量。
【Abstract】 The exploration of academic achievement assessment of Chinese university students has just spanned two decades, during which stakeholders of higher education in China paid increasingly close attention to the quality of higher education and gradually took the assessment of academic achievements of university students as a key means of accountability for running universities. By comprehensively adopting the approaches of literature research, comparative research, historical research and interviews and by referring to the development of academic achievement assessment in international universities, the overall status quo of assessment tools of academic achievements, evaluation methods and the application of assessment results have been introduced and the existing problems have been analyzed. These problems lie in the insufficiency of the standardization, localization and diversification of assessment tools, excessive dependence on indirect estimation and lateral evaluation method, the non-transparent application of assessment results, etc. On this basis, the major prospects for the assessments of academic achievements of Chinese university students are presented, namely, the establishment of systematic assessment regulations, the establishment of a new assessment paradigm, the combination of academic achievement assessment with other learning outcome assessments, the meta-evaluation for academic achievement assessments, the further localization of the theories and practices of academic achievement assessments and so on, in order to better promote the assessment of academic achievements of university students and safe guard the quality of undergraduate education in China in the new era.
