【Abstract】 Mr. Chen Xintai was the first graduate student of education in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,and he was also one of the representatives who regard education belonging to the superstructure. In his long-term work in the field of education theory,he has trained a number of graduate students,and has mediated over the essentials of the problem of education. Especially,he has had his own ideas about the essence of education,and the all-round development,education policy and other issues.
