【Abstract】 Xi Jinping’s thought of building a clean and honest government is a logically and structurally complete theoretical system. It is an important part of Xi Jinping’s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era and occupies a very important position in his governing ideology. Xi Jinping’s idea of building a clean and honest government clearly defined the goal of building a vibrant Marxist ruling party, reaffirmed the fundamental principle of "being for the people", "pragmatic"and "incorruption", and innovated "don’t dare to rot, don’t decay, don’t want to rot".
