家鸽翼的异速生长分析

【摘要】 家鸽雏鸟为晚成雏,对其胚后生长发育过程中翼的形态变化进行了异速生长分析.结果表明其翼展与翼面积均为显著的正异速生长;翼面积的快速生长仅限于雏鸽期,翼展则快速生长至童鸽初期;相应地,展弦比持续增大直至成鸽;翼载荷在雏鸽期迅速下降,而后基本保持平稳,在成鸽期有所上升,反映了家鸽从刚出飞的童鸽到成鸽在翼形态、飞翔方式以及飞行距离等方面的差异.

【Abstract】 Morphological parameters such as wing span,aspect ratio and wing loading are critical to wing performance,and thus influence flight behaviors of birds. In the present study,we conduct preliminary work on the allometric analysis of the wing morphology during postnatal ontogeny in pigeon,an altricial bird species. The results show that the wing span and wing area show significant positive allometry in relation to body mass. Wing area grows rapidly during the first month and wing span maintains rapid growth until the early stage of young pigeon. Correspondingly,the aspect ratio tends to increase till adult; the wing loading presents sudden decrease before fledging and then remains steady in the following period. These morphological variations reflect differences in wing shape,flight style and flight distance between young and adult pigeons.
