甘薯×木薯远缘杂交与甘薯种质创新
Distant Hybridization Between Sweetpotato and Cassava and Enhancement of Sweet Potato Germplasm
【摘要】 为了寻求甘薯种质创新的新途径,借助常规有性杂交开展甘薯与木薯远缘杂交试验。结果表明,甘薯与木薯杂交结实率为0.98%,杂交后代外观差,鲜薯产量低,很难筛选出生产上能够直接利用的品种。以这些杂交后代作为育种材料,通过单次或多次与甘薯进行杂交,育成高淀粉甘薯品种‘莆薯16’、‘莆薯12’、‘莆薯22’、‘莆薯25’、‘莆紫薯5号’等优质品系,丰富了甘薯种质。以甘薯×木薯远缘杂交后代T25作为育种材料育成的高淀粉甘薯品种‘莆薯16’,薯块干率达38.11%,淀粉率26.78%,干率和淀粉率在我国已鉴(审)定的甘薯品种中处于领先水平。为我国寻求甘薯种质创新提供依据。
【Abstract】 In order to seek a new way for sweet potato germplasm enhancement, an interspecific hybridization experiment was carried out between sweet potato and cassava. The results showed that the hybrids between sweet potato as males and cassava had an average seed set of only 0.98%, and that their progenies were low in fresh root yield and poor in root appearance. It was difficult to select new cultivar that could be used for cultivation. The progenies of the hybrids were used as breeding material to cross with sweet potato in a single or multiply ways. High-starch sweet potato varieties such as Pushu 16, Pushu12, Pushu 22, Pushu 25, and Puzishu 5 were then successfully selected, enriching the sweet potato germplasm. The dry matter and starch contents of Pushu 16, a high starch yielder derived from the progeny T25 of the distant cross between sweet potato and cassava were 38.11% and 26.78%,respectively, which were higher than those of other approved sweet potato varieties. This provides reference for enhancement of the sweet potato germplasm.
