【Abstract】 During the development of foreign shipping and foreign trade,the ancient Quanzhou citizens who had been taking the ocean as field and doing business with partners all over the world exploited the Maritime Silk Road which fused trade,friendship,and dialogue of civilizations all in one.Its prosperity has lasted for a few centuries,and created the Maritime Silk Road culture containing the tolerance to diversity,the navigation to many countries of the world,and the emigration.Some excellent traditional dwellings in Quanzhou were obviously affected by the Maritime Silk Road Culture.The influence mainly included the funds of construction,the choice of building materials,the architectural style,and the architectural ornament.At present,some traditional houses meet some difficulties in maintaining.The protection and utilization of these traditional houses should be done well in the future.The protective tourism development of these buildings is one of the reasonable utilization ways.On the other hand,it is pivotal to design and construct the remarkabel vernacular dwellings and to absorbe the foreign cultures with open mind.更多还原
