重新认识细胞焦亡
New Insights into Pyroptosis
【摘要】 生老病死是生物个体的必经过程,也是自然界的基本规律。细胞作为生物体结构和功能的基本单位,也有增殖、分化、衰老和死亡的历程。研究表明,细胞焦亡在细菌病毒感染、动脉粥样硬化、神经退行性疾病及免疫系统缺陷类疾病中发挥着重要作用。
【Abstract】 Pyroptosis is a kind of programmed cell death playing critical roles in host defense against pathogen infection and in danger signalling. During pyroptosis, the effector GSDMD is cleaved into GSDMD-N and GSDMD-C by activated caspase 1/4/5/11. Further knowledge about pyroptosis is supposed to provide insights into the etiology of many diseases, and help improve the relevant clinical prevention and therapy.
