【Abstract】 One of the most significant issues of the social constructivism-realism debate and the holism-individualism debate is whether social groups are real or not. Based on the arguments for the causal power and irreducibility of social kinds in the philosophy of social science,this paper contends that social groups are real as social-level properties rather than as entities. Furthermore,it’s better to treat social groups as the products of "we-mode attitudes"of individuals proposed by Tuomela rather than as "supra-individual agents"argued by Gilbert.更多还原
