【Abstract】 Academic English has become a significant component of College English curriculum, and it is of necessity to explore feasible mode of teaching. The theory of grammatical metaphor proposed by Systemic Functional Linguistics is teachingoriented and applicable to the teaching of Academic English. Based on the introduction of grammatical metaphor and its functions in academic texts, the application of this theory to Academic English teaching is discussed and a new teaching approach termed as"language skill-based bilateral interaction"is proposed.更多还原
