【Abstract】 In the context of Web 2. 0, traditional article level metrics cannot meet the new requirement of American university research evaluation. By studying Altmetrics and Altmetric. com, this paper analyses its objective, index, weights and influence in research area. In addition, by studying application of Altmetrics in Duke University, this paper presents the new headway in American university current research evaluation system, and summarizes the deficiency of new measure tools, in order to provide our country with three recommendations to improve our university research evaluation system.更多还原
