【摘要】 保定莲池书院作为清代直隶省最高文化教育中心,是北方最具影响力的一所省级书院。优越的地理条件,政府与社会的合力,书院大师们的榜样作用等因素是莲池书院得以兴盛的原因,促使莲池书院打破了原有单一的人才培养目标,为社会培养了各级各类人才,发挥了教育的社会功能。但是,反观莲池书院的历史,由于近代政治、经济、教育变革等因素的复杂影响,作为旧式教育机构的莲池书院最终退出历史舞台,未能有效地完成向现代教育的转型。更多还原

【Abstract】 As the highest culture and education center of the province directly under the Qing Dynasty,Lianchi Academy was the most influential provincial Academy in the north,although it was the latest Academy. Lianchi Academy was in prosperity due to its favorable geographical position,joint efforts of the government and society,and good examples of the masters of the Academy. Breaking free from the original,single training aim for men,the Academy provided society with all kinds of able persons at different levels,thus play its educational functions. However,looking back at the history of the Academy,Lianchi Academy’s development was restricted by modern politics,economy,and educational reform. As the old educational institutions,Lianchi Academy step off the stage of history,so it doesn’t change to the modern education effectively.更多还原
