【Abstract】 Every regional design style is derived from its local culture and lifestyle. The United States is an immigrant country with a history of only two hundred years. The culture and lifestyle of immigrant countries features collision, integration and development in the culture and lifestyle brought by immigrants from different regions. The core concept of the American-style in interior design is comfort and freedom. The designer creates the family atmosphere as the spiritual harbor and pure land of the soul where it can let go of all the interference from the outside world, return to the warmth and feel the true feeling of each family member. Under the influence of this concept, designers adopt the material combination mode that is close to nature and has smooth visual attributes.
