LaB6阴极材料与金属基底钎焊研究
Brazing between LaB6 cathode emitter and the base metal
【摘要】 六硼化镧(LaB6)是一种结构特殊的晶体,它是性能优良的电子发射材料。其具有电子发射电流密度大、抗离子轰击和抗中毒能力强、对发射环境的要求较低、可以多次暴露大气等优点。由于LaB6阴极具有这些独特的性能,使其用于高能电子加速器、高功率微波(HPM)等大型动态真空系统中,需要超大发射电流密度的爆炸式阴极[1]。文中针对某型号HPM系统用阴极组件的使用要求,设计了LaB6阴极组件的结构,采用钎焊工艺技术,将LaB6阴极发射体与基底金属电极封接成为一个高性能阴极组件。通过各项试验,观察和检测了LaB6阴极组件的封接形貌和封接性能,并拟订出LaB6阴极组件封接工艺规程。测试结果表明,采用钎焊工艺技术制备的LaB6阴极组件具有封接牢固可靠,便于安装、拆卸,阴极电子发射性能优良的特点,完全满足高功率微波(HPM)系统对爆炸式LaB6阴极组件的使用要求。
【Abstract】 LaB6 is a special crystal structure,it is an electron-emitting material with excellent performance.Having some advantage such as large electron emission current density,good anti-ion bombardment and anti-poisoning ability,low emission of environmental requirements,can be repeatedly exposed to the atmosphere and so on.Since LaB6 cathode having these unique properties,making it become the explosion cathode requires large emission current density in large dynamic vacuum system such as high-energy electron accelerator,high power microwave( HPM)and so on.In this paper,according to a model HPM system requirements for use of the cathode assembly,designed the structure of LaB6 cathode assembly was designed by using brazing technology.The LaB6 cathode emitter and the base metal electrodes were sealed into a high-performance cathode assembly.The test results showed that LaB6 cathode assembly made through brazing process technology had excellent features such as solid and reliable,easy installation and removal,excellent emission performance of cathode electron and so on.Fully meet the requirements of explosive LaB6 cathode assembly in high power microwave(HPM) system.
