【Abstract】 Human’s cognitive understanding of morality is built on spatial conceptual metaphor. The spatial relationship of up/down,left/right,front/back in the source domain is mapped onto the target domain of morality,thus causing numerous spatial metaphor of morality. In the English and Chinese language,there exist morality concept expressed by the use of up/down,thick/thin,left/right,and the language features are the same. What’s more,the spatial metaphor of morality is formed on the basis of human body experience,and is also rooted in social and cultural factors.更多还原
