In this paper,hexagonal pyramidal cuprous oxide( Cu_2O) nanoparticles were synthesized by simple hydrothermal method using polyvinylpyrrolidone( PVP) as an assistant. The effects of different amounts of PVP on the morphology of Cu_2O samples were compared.
