山皂荚种子发芽试验

【摘要】 山皂荚(Gleditsia microphylla)种子具有坚硬的种皮,自然状态下不易发芽,为解决此难题,本试验采用沙藏变温、热水浸泡、浓硫酸处理等不同方式处理种子,测定其发芽率、发芽势和吸涨率。结果表明:采用浓硫酸酸蚀种子35min,其发芽率和发芽势分别达98%、90%以上,沙藏变温处理种子发芽率高于50%,热水浸泡处理种子发芽率只有水温80℃、水浴30min时,发芽率为65%。由此可知破除皂荚种子休眠的适宜方法为浓硫酸酸蚀种子35min,其发芽率达98%以上。

【Abstract】 Gleditdia microphylla seeds are difficult to germinate under natural conditions with hard seed coat.In order to solve the problem,this experiment treated seeds by varying temperature stratification,hot-water soaking and concentrated sulfuric acid treatment,and measured their germination rate,germination power and imbibition rate.The results showed that corroding seeds for 35 minutes with concentrated sulfuric acid,the germination rate and the germination power was more than 98% and 90% respectively under this treatment.The germination rate of seeds was more than 50% under varying temperature stratification treatment.The germination rate of seeds was 65% under hot-water soaking treatment only when the seeds bathed for 30 minutes in80 ℃ hot water.The results show that the appropriate treatment to break dormancy of Gleditdia microphylla seeds was to corrode seeds for 35 minutes with concentrated sulfuric acid,and the germination rate was more than 98%.
