The aging degree of emulsion explosive matrix(EEM), as the principal component in emulsion explosives(EE), has a significant impact on operational performance of EE. By analyzing aging mechanism of EEM, an aging equation was derived from the kinetic of crystallization. The equation was validated by previous experimental data.
