【Abstract】 Edward Victor Appleton,British physicist,pioneer of ionospheric research.This article describes the growth experience of Appleton.As well as his groundbreaking research on the field of ionosphere.The most outstanding achievement in Appleton’s research career was the Ionosphere,which was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1947.His academic journals and research institutions have also contributed to the continuous development of research in this area,making an outstanding contribution to the development of radio transmission technology.This article focuses on the introduction and analysis of Appleton’s academic research.更多还原
