车削SiCp/Al复合材料切削力预测模型研究
Modeling of cutting forces in turning of SiCp/Al composites
【摘要】 车削SiCp/Al复合材料切削力对刀具耐用度、零件加工质量有重要影响.为了准确预测SiC颗粒增强Al基复合材料车削时的切削力,提出了一种较为新颖的切削力预测模型.在该模型中,针对车削特点,将切削力产生归结于2个来源,即剪切变形区、前刀面摩擦区,重点分析了SiC颗粒对前刀面摩擦区的影响.利用PCD车刀和LG Mazak数控车床,进行了体积分数40%的SiCp/Al复合材料的车削实验.结果表明,该切削力模型在一定的切削参数条件下能够较准确地预测切削力.
【Abstract】 Changing of cutting force has an important effect on metal cutting process in cutting SiC particle reinforced aluminum-based composites.An innovative force model of orthogonal cutting SiC particle reinforced aluminum-based composites is proposed.In this model,cutting force is considering to derive from two deformed zones,namely,shear zone,primary friction zone between the front of tool and the bottom of chip.The influence of SiC particles on the two deformed zones is emphasized.Turning experiments on 40% particles SiCp/Al composites are conducted using PCD cutting tool and LG Mazak lathe.Experimental results show that the predicted model is valid on the conditions of some cutting parameters.
