【Abstract】 The regional culture of water villages in the south of the Yangtze River is characterized by the spirit of water, especially in the way of living together with water. The whole regional water network is developed and there are many lakes. This area is an ecological village and town model of harmonious life with water in traditional Chinese residential culture. The ancient town of Tang City, located in Shajia-Haman Town, Changshu City, south of the Yangtze River, is a representative of many historical villages and towns in Suzhou. Due to good natural conditions, developed water network systems, a long history and culture, rich agricultural resources and a prosperous economy, it has developed into a unique traditional style. This paper mainly introduces the protection measures for the maintenance and repair of the old town in recent years in the old street of Shajiabang tang city, as well as the planning and prospect of the development of the traditional town.更多还原
