青海门源M_S6.4地震微震检测与目录完备性研究
Missing Earthquakes Detection and Completeness of Earthquake Catalogues of the 2016 Menyuan,Qinghai M_S6.4 Earthquake
【摘要】 利用模板匹配方法对2016-01-21青海省门源县M_S6.4地震进行遗漏地震检测以及补充单台震相到时研究。鉴于主震后短时间内目录遗漏较多,故对主震后3h的连续波形进行检测。主震后3h内青海测震台网记录到的余震事件共332个,其中单台57个。选取主震后ML2.0以上余震112个作为模板事件,通过匹配滤波的方式扫描出遗漏地震123个,约为台网目录的40%。利用波形互相关提取震相到时的方法对单台事件补充其他台站震相到时,对单台事件重定位,最后得出41个单台事件的震中位置。基于包络差峰值振幅与震级的线性关系估测了检测事件的震级参数,最后将检测后的余震目录与台网余震目录在主震后3h内的最小完备震级进行了对比分析,结果发现,检测后最小完备震级从ML1.1降到了ML0.6,得到青海测震台网在门源地区最小完整性震级为ML0.6。
【Abstract】 This paper uses a template matching technique to detect missing earthquakes and add the arrivaltimes of seismic phases from other stations in single-station earthquake events of the 2016 Menyuan,Qinghai MS6.4 earthquake.In existing catalogs,the data of aftershock sequences,especially those in the short time after mainshocks,are common.So,we detect three hours’ continual waveforms after the mainshock.After the mainshock,Qinghai seismic network recorded 332 aftershocks,including single-station earthquakes.The number of single-station earthquakes is 57;we chose 112 aftershocks with magnitude greater than ML2.0 as templates,and find 123 missing earthquakes by the detection,about 0.4 times more than the catalogue of network.In addition,we add arrival times of seismic phases from other stations in single-station earthquake events by using waveform cross-correlation to get the arrival time of seismic phases,and then relocate the single-station earthquake events.Finally,we get 41 epicentral locations of them.According to the linear fitting relationship of frequency envelope difference amplitude and magnitude,we estimate the magnitude of the detected events.At last we compare the minimum magnitude of completeness(MC)before and after detection one month after mainshock,and find that the minimum magnitude of completeness reduces to ML0.6 from ML1.1,indicating that the minimum magnitude of completeness in Menyuan area of Qinghai seismic network is about ML0.6.
