【Abstract】 Under the background that the pace of modernization is accelerating,the heritage in historic city is impacted frequently by urban development activities,which results into the setting of cultural heritage has beening severely damaged,such as natural environmental,landscape landmark,space of site related to heritage beening neglected,it seriously destroys the authenticity and integrity of the cultural heritage.The paper analyzes concept about setting of heritage assets in England,and relationship between it and related concepts, and then interpretates meaning of setting for significance of heritage assets,design and viability.At last,it analyzes the step on the setting of heritage assets impact assessment for development projects,which plays great significance to the management of heritage protection in China.更多还原
