【Abstract】 Xunzi expounded ceremonial rites & music aesthetics for constructing a harmonious community. Ceremonial rites, music, poetry were endowed the value of the kingly doctrine as cultural resources for integrating the community.Re stricting the emotion & nature was the central topic of Xunzi’s communicative theory in the ceremonial rites & music aesthetics. He advocated the perfect combination between rites and emotion & nature, the balance of rites and emotion &nature, and a beauty in order. Xunzi interpreted the integration meaning and the cultivation of a gentleman ’s character of ceremonial music. And the ceremonial poetry carried the values and beliefs of rites, and had important communicative significances.更多还原
