【摘要】 严复的"信、达、雅"翻译观与其翻译实践之间的龃龉是译界长期以来讨论的翻译理论话题。本文尝试跳出纯翻译理论层面的纯技术性探讨,采用文化研究的视角,重新探讨严复翻译的主旨与其译学理论之间的悖反现象,认为中国近现代翻译史上的严复现象只能从历史文化语境中去寻找答案。更多还原

【Abstract】 It has been a hot debating issue on the conflicts between Yan Fu’s translation theory( faithfulness,expressiveness,and elegance) and his translation practices for a long run. This paper tries to go beyond the pure theoretical research of translation and tackle the problems from the perspective of cultural study. The paradox between Yan’s translation aim and his translation theory is a reflection of the historical and cultural contexts at that time.更多还原
