High quality graphene and its epoxy composites were prepared by exfoliation of first stage FeCl_3-GICs with sodium borohydride(NaBH_4)aqueous solution,followed by compounding with epoxy resin.First stage FeCl_3-GICs were prepared by compounding anhydrous FeCl_3 and graphite at 330℃.XRD analysis and scanning electron microscopy data show that the interlayer spacing of graphite intercalation compounds is increased from 0.335 nm to 0.930 nm,indicates first stage FeCl_3-GIC is obtained.Transmission electron mic...
