【Abstract】 As a new field of study in the new century, the research on the "relationship between literature and images" has made great progress. The research paradigm of "Literary Image Theory" in the period is particularly striking. "Literary Image Theory" studies has its strong practical concern, even the historical research has also considered how to respond to "the encounter of literature with an age of image." In the perspective of literature theory, "Literary Image Theory" is not limited to Abrams’ "literary coordinate system", but takes that literature as an art of language is the "image" of language, while the "image" of language is the main representation of language art.
