【Abstract】 Strontium is one of the essential trace elements in organism,and plays important biological role. In this paper,we discuss the distribution and metabolism of strontium in human body and animals,and the research progress on the relationship between strontium and osteoporosis,cardiovascular disease,dental caries and nerve stimulation.
