【摘要】 顾明远是中国比较教育学的重要奠基人,且以卓越的方式展示了这一学科如何服务于一个国家教育体系的转型。他曾在改革开放初期,立足于马克思主义视角,通过比较分析西方国家的教育变革与经济发展的关系,提出人的全面发展是现代生产对教育提出的需求,是同时适用于资本主义国家和社会主义国家的普遍规律。他毕生致力于研究中国的教育如何能恰当地学习其他国家的现代化经验,但又有着选择性重振中国文化传统以支持中国现代化目标的强烈意识,鼓励中国教育学者去探索自己教育模式的文化基础,并向世界阐明中国文化遗产的优势。更多还原

【Abstract】 Gu Mingyuan is one of important founders of Comparative Education in modern China. He demonstrated, in remarkable ways, how this field could serve to transform a national education system. In the early days of China’s reform and opening up, based on a Marxist perspective, GU developed a classic comparative analysis of the relationship between educational reform and economic development in Western countries, He pointed out that modern production requires the all-round development of human beings and that this is a universal law applying to both capitalist and socialist societies. He first devoted himself to studying how Chinese education could learn from the modernization experience of other countries, and then put great emphasis on selectively reviving China’s own cultural traditions in order to support China’s modernization goals. He also encouraged Chinese education scholars to probe the cultural foundations of their own educational traditions, so they could identify and articulate to the world the strengths of their own cultural heritage.更多还原
