【摘要】 基于自建中外化学期刊论文英文摘要语料库,对中外学者科技论文四词词块从结构和功能两个维度进行对比。从结构看,中国学者过多使用被动词块,过少使用介词词块,名词词块结构单一且用法差别较大。从功能看,中外学者使用的组篇功能词块比例差别最大,反映了中外不同的写作特点。中国学者应当意识到学术英语具有独特的写作特征,明白词块选择需要体现学科差异,关注英文摘要中的高频词块并进行刻意练习,这样有助于撰写更加符合国际学术规范的英文摘要,更好地进行学术交流。更多还原

【Abstract】 The study explores the features of lexical bundles(LB) in English abstracts of Chemistry research paper,aiming to improve Chinese scholars’ abstracts writing proficiency. We established Chinese and English Chemistry research paper English abstracts corpora and made a comparison study on the structures and functions of four-word LBs used by both Chinese and English writers. The results show that Chinese scholars tend to overuse passive bundles and underuse prepositional bundles. Besides, their use of noun bundles is non-variant and can only be found in Chinese corpus. In addition, the percentage difference of discourse function LBs is an indicator of different academic writing styles by two groups of writers. Chinese scholars should cultivate the awareness that academic English is a special genre with distinct linguistic features, that the choice of LBs should reflect disciplinary differences and that intentional LB practice is necessary. These will be of help for Chinese writers to produce English abstracts in accordance with international academic norm.更多还原
