【摘要】 葛维汉(David Crockeett Graham)于20世纪初从美国到四川。在川的36年中,他最初是一名传教士,后成为华西协和大学博物馆馆长兼文化人类学教授,不仅对考古发掘、博物馆的建设有诸多贡献,而且多次赴藏、彝、羌、苗等少数民族地区考察,成果丰硕。他的研究虽然存在着一定的历史局限性,却体现了他对中国西南地区少数民族的认知,对中国民族学的建设有积极的推动作用,并对当今西南地区少数民族研究具有史料价值和借鉴意义。更多还原

【Abstract】 David Crockeett Graham came to Sichuan Province from the United States in the 1920 s. In his 36 years in Sichuan,he was a missionary in the first few years. Later,he was the museum curator as well as a professor of cultural anthropology in West China Union University. He has made many contributions in archaeological excavation and museum development. Moreover,he also went to Tibetan,Yi,Qiang,Miao and other minority areas to investigate,and got many fruitful achievements. In spite of some historic limitations,his studies have reflected his comprehension about the minorities in China’s Southwestern areas. His studies also not only played a great role in China’s ethnology development,but also provided historical data value as well as referential significance for current studies about the minorities research in the southwestern area of China.更多还原
