【摘要】 大畜的"畜"传统意义有蓄止、蓄聚、积蓄义。根据卦象及卦爻辞的描述,通过比较和分析前人及今人的相关考辨成果,发现卦辞"不家食吉""利涉大川"隐含出外猎取义;爻辞"有厉,利已""舆说輹"有驾车出猎之义,"良马逐""曰闲舆卫"为逐猎之象;"童牛之牿""豮豕之牙"为驯养猎物之事,且卦中只有六四、六五这两个描述蓄养的主爻断辞为吉利。据此,初步认为"畜"用其本义蓄养,大畜意为大的蓄养,全卦似为一次狩猎、养猎过程的完整记录。更多还原

【Abstract】 The termxu 畜in the hexagram Da xu 大畜 [■,Great Domestication,26]was traditionally rendered as storing up and saving.On the basis of its image,hexagram and line statements,and through comparing and analyzing former and recent textual research achievements,it can be seen that the hexagram statement,"not eating at home means good fortune,and it is fitting to cross the great river"hints at going hunting;the bottom and second line statements imply the subject drove and went hunting while the third line statement reveals a scene of chasing animals in hunting;the fourth and fifth line statements refer to domestication and raising of the prey,and only these two lines of the hexagram promise auspiciousness.Hereby,it is preliminarily believed that xuemploys its original meaning of"animal husbandry",and Da xuaccordingly refers to great domestication and husbandry.The whole hexagram seems to be a complete record of a process of hunting,domesticating and raising animals.更多还原
