【Abstract】 The west Siberia baselines played an important role in the eastward expansion of Russia and the conquest of Central Asia.The construction of the base lines not only helped implement Russia’s long-established expansion plan of conquering Central Asia via the Kazakh grassland,but also facilitated the invasion of the northwest territory of China.The west Siberian base line,on the one hand,functioned as a bridgehead for the invasion,and on the other hand,promoted significantly the trade between Russia and East Asia in the 19th century.更多还原
