【Abstract】 It is the only way to grasping properly the true essence of "The White Horse Theory" presented in the Kung-sun Lung Tsu—the material idea of analytic philosophy of language, thus realizing the always maintained error of regarding the theory as sophistry and metaphysics to take not only the logical view, still importantly but also the view of linguistic analysis as starting points for examining it. "The White Horse Theory" is a considerably sophisticated and complete analytic philosophy of language, though it is only of material idea owing to its born from Chinese traditional philosophy. The theory as the methodology of knowledge has become an only cultural source having scientific significance inherited from the Chinese traditional philosophy. Through the examination based on the ground of cultural history, the bibliographical research as well as the reasoning consideration, it is ascertained that the modern version of the Kung-sun Lung Tzu is a genuine fragment.更多还原
