一种正畸用复合材料的制备及其力学性能评价
Preparation of shape memory polyurethane/glass fiber composites and evaluation of mechanical properties for orthodontics
【摘要】 具有形状记忆功能的高分子材料(SMPs,Shape memory ploymers)可应用于口腔正畸,但是其弹性模量比较低,形状回复力比较小.为了提高PU材料在口腔正畸中的应用可行性,以聚氨酯为基体,短切玻璃纤维为增强填料,探究具有不同质量分数的玻璃纤维增强聚氨酯(GFRPU)复合材料的制作工艺并制备出长方体状样条,通过静态拉伸实验测试、差示扫描量热仪(DSC,Differential scanning calorimeter)测试和扫描电镜(SEM,Scanning electron microscope)观察,从弹性模量、玻璃化转变温度和微观断口形貌三个方面评估GFRPU复合材料用于正畸治疗的可行性.研究结果表明:温度为36℃,玻纤质量分数为35%时,GFRPU复合材料与纯PU材料相比,其弹性模量提高了218%~546%,力学性能有较大改善,其应用于口腔正畸的可能性明显提高.
【Abstract】 The polymer material with shape memory effect(SMPs,shape memory ploymers)can be used in orthodontics.However,the elastic modulus of this material is relatively low,and the shape recovery force is relatively small.In order to improve the feasibility of the application of PU material in the orthodontics,the short glass fiber is used as reinforcement for the polyurethane matrix in the present study.First,we studied the synthetic process of glass fiber reinforced polyurethane(GFRPU)composites with different glass fiber content,and then,fabricated rectangular spline samples.The elastic modulus value of GFRPU composites is measured by static tensile test,and the glass transition temperature of GFRPU composites is measured by DSC and the uniformity of dispersion of glass fiber in polyurethane matrix is observed by SEM.The feasibility of GFRPU composites for orthodontic appliance is evaluated from three aspects:elastic modulus,glass transition temperature and fracture morphology.The results show that,compared with pure PU material,the elastic modulus of GFRPU composites increased by 218%to 546% when temperature is 36 ℃ and the glass fiber content is 35%,and the mechanical properties are also improved greatly.
