一个甜瓜短侧蔓突变体的遗传及相关分析

【摘要】 从西亚甜瓜种质‘PI351131’中发现一个短侧蔓突变单株‘D581-1’,对该突变性状进行遗传分析和相关分析。结果表明,‘D581-1’的侧蔓总长和侧蔓均长分别为‘H465’的13.40%和17.10%,该性状表现稳定,不受季节影响。对‘D581-1’(母本)与普通长侧蔓种质‘H465’(父本)杂交的F1和F2代进行遗传分析表明,F1的性状明显偏向‘H465’,侧蔓总长和侧蔓均长在F2群体中均呈双峰偏正态分布,说明短侧蔓性状受单个主效基因的调控,倾向隐性单基因遗传。相关分析显示,该性状与株高呈中等相关,与果实鲜质量的相关性较强。

【Abstract】 A novel short-lateral-branching mutant was selected from the west Asian melon PI169329 and used for genetic analysis and correlation analysis of the mutant trait, short lateral branching. The result showed that the total length(TLL)and mean length(MLL) of lateral branches of‘D581-1’were about 13.40% and 17.10% of the common melon germplasm,respectively, and had a stable phenotype during the consecutive seasons. Genetic analysis of F1 and F2 generations of‘D581-1’(female) crossed with the long-lateral-branching germplasm‘H465’(male) showed that all the F1 individuals revealed a tendency to‘H465’, and TLL and MLL exhibited a skewed normal distribution with double peaks. These findings inferred that the short-lateral-branching trait was controlled by a major gene and tended to inherit as a single nuclear gene. Correlation analysis of the mutant trait in F2 population demonstrated a moderate correlation with the plant height and a high correlation with fruit fresh weight.
