【Abstract】 The lung flute is a new type of oscillating end expiratory positive pressure device,which can produce a low frequency sound wave and strong exhale,to improve the sputum clearance and the cough-out of induced sputum. For patients with chronic diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease( COPD) with mucous secretions increase,it has a therapeutic effect. The lung flute can also be used to obtain sputum specimens for rapid diagnosis of respiratory diseases such as tuberculosis,lung cancer. In addition,it can also be used for sputum collection for cystic fibrosis,to facilitate the diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
