巨噬细胞表型的可塑性在动脉粥样硬化中的研究进展
Research Progress of Macrophage Phenotypic Plasticity in Atherosclerosis
【摘要】 巨噬细胞在动脉粥样硬化性炎症的诱导和进展中起至关重要的作用。随着动脉粥样硬化斑块的进展,斑块内积聚的巨噬细胞逐渐增多。在人体斑块和动脉粥样硬化小鼠模型的动脉粥样硬化性损伤中,均可以观察到巨噬细胞表型的复杂性。不同亚型的巨噬细胞作用不同,且在一定条件下可以相互转化。在动脉粥样硬化斑块中,血脂、血清蛋白及各种有促/抗炎性质的刺激物,如细胞因子、趋化因子和生物活性小分子等物质可以在很大程度上影响巨噬细胞的表型改变。因此,进一步研究巨噬细胞可塑性的机制和不同巨噬细胞表型的功能特征,有望为治疗动脉粥样硬化相关疾病提供新方向。
【Abstract】 Macrophages play a critical role in the induction and progression of atherosclerotic inflammation. With the development of atherosclerotic plaque,the accumulation of macrophages in the plaque gradually increases. The complexity of macrophage phenotypes can be observed in atherosclerotic plaques of human and atherosclerotic lesions in mouse models of atherosclerosis. Different subtypes of macrophage have different functions,and can be converted to each other under certain conditions. In atherosclerotic plaque,serum lipids,serum lipoproteins and various pro-or anti-inflammatory stimuli such as cytokines,chemokines and small bioactive molecules,which could greatly influence the change of macrophage phenotype.Therefore,further study on the mechanism of macrophage plasticity and the functional characteristics of different macrophage phenotypes is expected to provide a new direction for the treatment of atherosclerosis related diseases.
