【Abstract】 Applying Leonorus Japonicus Houtt to treat obstetric and gynaecological diseases is a regular and important approach in traditional Chinese medicine.Stachydrine,a major soluble alkaloid extracted from Leonorus,has extra therapeutic effects on cardiovascular system apart from its effects on gynaecological diseases.The cardiovascular therapeutic effects for stachydrine include increasing coronary blood flow,reducing left ventricular pressure,prolonging PQ interval,inhibiting cardiomyocytes hypertrophy,reducing growth arrest and senescence of endothelial cells,protecting endothelial cells,and affecting cardiac electrophysiology,etc.In addition,strachydrine also has therapeutic effects such as inhibiting cellular apoptosis,relieving cough and asthma,inhibiting the growth of certain bacteria and parasites,regulating immune response,etc.更多还原
