【Abstract】 With the development of STEM education, specific STEM schools increasingly received attention from the society. There are three types of STEM-focused schools: selective STEM schools, inclusive STEM schools and schools with STEM-focused career and technical education. Although the three types of STEM-focused schools have fundamental difference in their formative backgrounds, design concepts and ways of enrollment, they still have some similar characteristics in the specific implementation procedures of STEM education. Understanding the development process and implementation characteristics of these three types of STEM-focused schools, and their practical experience in cultivating and educating STEM talents of different levels and types can provide us with some information and suggestions for the development of our own STEMfocused schools or projects.更多还原
