【Abstract】 Expression of individual emotion in plastic arts and its exploration to individual soul originated from the Renaissance.On the basis of analysis of connotation and layers of"emotion",the paper holds that emotionalism of Christianity lays foundations for emotion expression in plastic arts,and secularization of religious emotion,especially,the cult of the Virgin Mary,promote the emotional expression in plastic arts.The artists,from Giotto to Da Vinci,obtained great achievements during the process,and the aesthetic function of arts also surpassed its religious function.更多还原
