【Abstract】 Invasion and metastasis are the basic characteristics and important symbols of malignant tumors,which are also the main causes of death in patients with cancer.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) is an essential step during the process of tumor invasion and metastasis.In the process of tumor metastasis,lots of studies have shown that cell fusion is one of the common phenomena.Mesenchymal stem cell(MSC) is an important fusogenic candidate and plays a critical role in tumor metastasis through cell fusion.This review summarizes the recent research progress of cell fusion between MSCs and malignant cells in the tumor metastasis.The elucidation of its mechanisms may provide a new strategy for tumor therapy.更多还原
