【Abstract】 Polycystic ovary syndrome( PCOS),mainly characterized by metabolic disturbances and reproductive comorbidities,is one of the most common endocrine disorders among women of reproductive age. Recently,increasing population studies have reported that the prevalence of psychological disorders,particularly depression,in women with PCOS is significantly higher than in healthy controls. In this review,we summarize the possible risk factors in women with PCOS complicated by depression and the underlying mechanisms involved in.
